As travelers ourselves, we have stayed in many different places over the years and learned what truly matters for a comfortable and relaxing stay. From small thoughtful details to comfort, cleanliness, privacy, and functionality — we carefully brought those experiences and expectations into every Mahala Apartment, creating a space where guests can truly feel at home. Our goal is simple: to offer the kind of stay we would personally love to experience wherever we travel.

At Mahala Apartments, we wanted to create more than just accommodation. Along with comfortable apartments, guests can enjoy a welcoming reception and workspace area, as well as a spacious private courtyard designed for relaxation and socializing.

Mevlana's welcome was absolutely fantastic. We got our apartments well before check-in time. We were offered bottles of fruit juice, as well as plenty of local, seasonal vegetables. And as agreed, she and her son dropped us off at the Pyramid of the Sun tunnels and came back to pick us up. Finally, Mevlana recommended a taxi for our second day, between the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon. She booked it for us. If you want to explore the Pyramid of the Sun tunnels in Visoko, you've come to the right place for a peaceful stay and to enjoy the excellent care of Mevlana and her family.

Everything was perfect, we booked all three apartments and all of them were very well equipped (maybe very minor thing would be helpful - few more towel hangers in all bathrooms:)). Location couldn’t be better, very central with lots of grocery stores and restaurants around. Hosts are very nice, polite and trustful. …and the Pyramid of the Sun could be seen from the garden :)

The location of the apartment is perfect. There is parking. It is close to the city center in a few minutes' walk. Highway minutes and 20 minutes to Sarajevo. The cleanest place I've ever been. Everything is close to you and the staff is very hospitable and professional. All recommendations.

Located in a typical Bosnian “Mahala” you will experience a perfect and authentic mix of peaceful accommodation yet close to all the sights Visoko and surrounding areas have to offer. A few minutes’ walk to the main street in Visoko – with a variety of restaurants and shops. The apartments itself is new and meets all requirements for a stay – lovely garden with relaxing area is also perfect for an evening drink. The owners are lovely and will do there outmost to accommodate your stay and advice/help if needed. A true feel of the Bosnian hospitality.

The hosts were kind, welcoming, helpful, prompt in responding and contacting us, and interested in our stay, the accommodation, the pyramids, the park, the tunnels, and the people. There were two of us, and they gave us the first-floor apartment, which included a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom, and even use of the garage (we had a car). Everything was new, clean, well-equipped, and beautiful. The description doesn't quite capture the comfort, tasteful furnishings, and beauty of the accommodation
